# ELEMENTA ORIGINS 2027 — Cinematic Countdown · Preview

This existing countdown candidate has been updated in place with the newly supplied artwork. The working dossier and other projects remain unchanged. No sharing or live-domain publication was requested or performed.

## Entry and sources

The current identity rendering uses Matt's newly supplied elementa_logo.jpeg (cream custom wordmark) and elementa_logo_2.jpeg (four-element emblem). Both are JPEG/raster sources, not editable vectors. The previous small feed-board wordmark and invented elemental line icons have been superseded. Sampled cream/sand, rust, ochre, slate, taupe and sage inform brand.css. Supporting typography is a restrained sans-serif interpretation; the previous italic Georgia treatment has been removed. No official font names or font files were supplied.

Read assets-provenance.json for source links, crop coordinates, rights status, design assumptions and reference mechanisms. The September 8 visual proposal and September 3 framework govern the working visual interpretation, not final identity approval.

## Implemented experience

One full dynamic viewport, no landing-page scrolling, with separate mobile portrait and short landscape arrangements. Real HTML logo image, text, labels and countdown, not a video with baked-in copy.

Single clock: coast 0–2.4 seconds, people 2.4–4.9, logo reveal 4.9–7.3, then final layout. Same logo DOM node transforms into place with a 1.4-second docking transition: about 8.7 seconds to fully settled composition. Cinematic layers are animated still photographs for this first preview, NOT final documentary footage. Subsequent motion is restrained CSS ambient drift only; the full intro never loops.

Skip, replay, motion pause/resume, ES/EN, session return, reduced motion and background-tab completion are handled by one app.js sequence. A watchdog ends the sequence independently of media playback/events. A cached return in the same tab/session goes directly to the final state. With reduced motion the final composition is static and replay is removed. A motion pause during the intro finishes into the still final state.

Still layers render immediately. Media failure drops the decorative imagery and leaves the text/control composition. Optional video slots in config support muted inline playback with separate HTML logo and text; autoplay rejection and video errors resolve to the final state. No audio asset is supplied.

Language and motion preferences are session-local. No personal information, analytics, external fonts or tracking are used. There is no active signup or ticket action because no real destination is configured.

## Configuration — config.js

festival.confirmed remains false; dates.es and dates.en remain null. Visible preview: 'Fechas por confirmar' / 'Dates to be confirmed'. Conflicting source dates are February 19–20, 2027 and March 3–5, 2027. The original Master Plan is not present in the inspected provider assets; its historical summary does not establish new confirmation.

release.confirmed remains false; releaseAt and timeZone remain null. Visible preview uses em dashes, not an invented countdown. October 1 is the requested announcement day; year, exact hour and timezone remain pending.

After human confirmation, set release.releaseAt to ONE full ISO timestamp with an explicit UTC offset or Z; set release.timeZone to the approved IANA display zone; set release.confirmed=true. Do not use the visitor's local midnight. The timer calculates from this one absolute instant; year/time/zone are displayed from the configuration. No arbitrary example timestamp is shipped.

At zero the timer stops, cannot go negative, and displays the localized release state. HTTPS detailsUrl/ticketsUrl links appear only once released and only when valid. Validate real destinations before populating them. Without those destinations the released state says full details are coming soon. If a verified signupUrl is added, it appears as a functioning external signup destination before release; no dummy form exists.

All interface translations are in translations.es/en. 'The magic of coming together' is proposed translation, not approved brand copy. Event title remains ELEMENTA ORIGINS 2027, without Carnival Edition. No venue attribution is published.

## Required replacements before public use

1. Vector masters and font files remain useful future replacements: the current wordmark and emblem are authentic crops from Matt's newly supplied JPEGs. Replace media.logo/media.emblem if approved SVGs become available. No generic-font logo is used.
2. Cleared human/crowd footage: current crop is an unapproved source-board reference, no original photographer or public rights established. Do not release it publicly.
3. Contemporary cleared Playa Venao footage/still: the current real location photo is Inzay20's 2010 Commons image under CC BY-SA 3.0. Resize/color/crop adaptations retain that license. Attribution is linked in the footer to credits.html.
4. Approve supporting type, palette, element details and bilingual copy. They are working interpretations.
5. Resolve dates, launch instant, reveal scope and destination URLs.

## Build and review

Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, no bundle/build step, no external runtime dependencies. config.js, app.js, style.css and assets are separate provider files for easy revision. OpenDesigner writes use its supported project/file API with a manifest. Local staging is intermediate; the hosted files are the deliverable.

Use the direct raw preview URL for full session-return and new-tab attribution behavior. OpenDesign's editor embeds the artifact in an opaque-origin iframe with sandbox="allow-scripts allow-downloads"; that provider sandbox denies sessionStorage and popups. The page handles denied storage without failing, but reloads inside that editing iframe cannot retain the seen-intro preference and its new-tab credit link may be blocked. The direct preview was tested with normal same-tab session storage. The provider sandbox was not modified or bypassed.

credits.html is an off-page attribution document opened in a new tab, not an additional festival section. assets-provenance.json and this file are collaborator documentation outside the visitor-facing landing composition.

Do not publish to the festival domain until the factual and rights approvals above are resolved.
